Dr. Andrew hails from the great state of Michigan, growing up on it's Eastern shores of Lake Huron. The son of a prominent pastor in the Port Huron area, Dr. Andrew grew up strong in his faith that God created the body, and that the body was designed to heal itself. It was this fascination with the human frame that drew his attention to the healthcare field. He fell in love with the intricacies of the musculoskeletal, vascular, and neurological systems of the body and how they all play a part in everyday activities. He began to see that the body didn't need copious amounts of prescription and over the counter drugs to be healthy, but simply a sound mind, body, and spirit.
Dr. Andrew took this mindset into his undergraduate career where he studied and received his bachelors degree in Chemistry from Indiana Wesleyan University. He spent his years at IWU volunteering in both on and off campus ministries, working closely with the multi-cultural department as a residence hall diversity coordinator, and competing in club rugby and intramural sports. He then moved to Atlanta to attend Life University where he graduated with honors with his Doctorate of Chiropractic. Now residing back in "The Great Lakes State", Dr. Andrew enjoys hiking the gorgeous coastline with the family, is an avid sports and fitness enthusiast, and loves investing in the local spiritual and entrepreneurial beats of the Holland area.
Dr. Cait was born in North Carolina but was raised in the great state of Michigan. She grew up loving to be outdoors, reading, and cooking but also passionately pursuing the sport of gymnastics. Her passion for gymnastics ultimately led her to compete for the University of Kentucky. During her time at UK, she was not only involved heavily in athletics, but also in on-campus and off-campus ministries while obtaining her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. These experiences gave Dr. Cait the understanding that health was multifactorial and had physical, chemical, mental, and spiritual components. Her senior year, she suffered a traumatic injury that resulted in a broken neck. Because of this injury, she suffered several side effects, most severely of which were migraines that plagued her 4-5 times a week.
Although this injury closed the chapter on her competitive gymnastics career, it opened the door for her to explore the physiology and anatomy of the human body in her pursuit of restoring her own health. This path led her to chiropractic which helped to realign her spine after it had suffered so much damage. She is now proud to say that she rarely ever experiences migraines anymore and has had a significant reduction in her other side effects of her injury. Since her injury, she attended Life University where she obtained her Doctorate of Chiropractic degree with honors. She is now passionate about sharing her knowledge of health with the Holland community and prays she can see the lives of other sick and hurting people restored.
