Spring always feels like a magical time to me every year. It is full of abundant life, better moods, and a new positive energy. It is almost like the air is humming with new potential. It’s also my favorite because I can begin to workout outside again! I love to take a towel or yoga mat to a park or beach and sneak in a quick workout. I’ve designed a 30 day fitness challenge for you to join this April. All levels are modifiable for your current fitness level. If you need any help or ideas, reach out to us and we’ll make sure it works for you!

P.S. if some of these words or workout styles are new to you, don’t worry! Here is a quick explanation of a few:

  • AMRAP: stands for “As Many Rounds As Possible.” In a 20 minute AMRAP style workout, your goal is to see how many rounds you can fit in during the time allotted.

  • Hiit workout: stands for “High Intensity Interval Training.” This workout style incorporates bursts of higher activity with a corresponding rest period before moving on to the next activity.

  • Yoga: you do not have to have a studio membership to learn to do yoga! Lots of YouTube videos exist to help guide you. Some great ones are Tara Stiles, Boho Beautiful, and Yoga with Adriene.

  • Tabata: a style of workout similar to hiit, except that it utliizes shorter periods of both rest and working periods. The idea with this style of workout is to push 100% for a shorter period of time.
